Timothy Clarence McAlister

Timothy Clarence McAlister, 69 of Greensburgdied peacefully Wednesday September 25, 2024 in his home.  He was born September 15, 1955 in Greensburg to Clarence and Marie (Balles) McAlister.  Tim was a graduate of Jeannette High School class of 1973 and shortly after graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany. Upon returning to Greensburg, he worked for Kaylor Sign Company and currently as a sandblaster for Arco Enterprises Inc., a job and work family Tim embraced and loved. He was a private, gentle and kind man with a soft -spoken footprint and huge heart, reflected in how he took care of his mother after his father passed. Always unassuming, always positive, Tim’s legacy of hard work and dedication to his family and community will always be recalled fondly as well as his beautiful smile.  He will be deeply missed by his sister Patricia Jacobs (Jack Goldberg) of Latrobe and Robert McAlister Sr. (Gloria) of Greentree; step- son Jesse Steel; sister-in laws Sue and Laura McAlister; nieces and nephews Paul, Christopher, Robert Jr., Adrienne, Jared, Brandy, Courtney, Shelby, Justine, Jason, and Matthew; great-nieces Joelle and Ava; great- nephews Nick and Jase; and great-great nieces Maisie and Chesnie.  Tim was met in heaven by his twin brother Thomas McAlister and parents Clarence and Marie McAlister. The family would like to thank Arco Enterprises Inc. for their support and kindness to Tim. A Celebration of Life service will be announced.  All immediate arrangements entrusted to ASHLEY D. X.
