Susan Kay (Fishell) Wilson, age 79, of Hunker passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2025 with her family at her side. Born October 17, 1945 in Greensburg, Susan was the daughter of the late Maurice B. and Myrtle Rose (Hynman) Fishell and was the beloved wife of 58 years whom she met at 10 years of age, the late David Sittman Wilson. Susan was a private person and poured her heart and soul into caring for her family. If you were going to her home, you knew you would leave with a belly full whether it was a hearty breakfast, or a beautiful dinner followed with a homemade pie, cooking for her family was her favorite. She enjoyed reading novels, from crime and mystery to reading about diff cultures and backgrounds and dabbled in needlepoint. Susan was a headstrong woman and held fierce deep love and devotion for her family and friends. She always told you what she thought, wore her heart on her sleeve, and was someone you could confide in. Her personality was one of a kind and she will be missed daily by her son Matthew Wilson and wife Tamela; cherished grandchildren Joshua Wilson and wife Rene, and Dayna Wilson and her boyfriend Zach Cain; and her beautiful great grandson Oakey Wilson. In addition to reuniting with her husband David and her parents she was met by her sister Betty Jo Saxton in heaven. Please join us to honor and celebrate her life on Monday, August 11, 2025 viewing from 3 to 7 pm, and Tuesday, August 12, 2025 viewing from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am with Pastor David Greer presiding at ASHLEY D.X.
