Steven Lee Sappol

 Steven Lee Sappol, 60, of Greensburg passed away at home surrounded by his loving wife and children on Thursday, August 19, 2021. He was born November 16, 1960 in Huntington, Long Island to the late Bernard and Estelle (Rosenheck) Sappol. Steve was a loving husband to Mary Kuzemchak Sappol and a loving father to Timothy and Traci. He also left behind two wonderful brothers, Alan (Diane) of Riverhead, Long Island and Michael (Eva) of Stockholm, Sweden and his nieces and nephews: Nell, Eve, Mark, Francis, Kristine, Steven and Katelyn. A natural athlete from an early age, Steve was affectionately called “Wonder,” a nickname that remained with him throughout his life. He was a kind and gentle soul and always loved to talk politics, sports, and music. He cared deeply about climate change, social justice and the fate of American democracy. Steve will be so deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends. At Steve’s request all services are private and entrusted to ASHLEY D. X.
