Stanley J. Swencki, of Youngwood, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, in Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. Stan was born May 19, 1958, in Jeannette, the son of the late Stanley Swencki and Rose Gentile Zaremba. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; his brother, Ronald Swencki; and his stepfather, Jerome Zaremba. Stan worked in the autobody business for more than 45 years, most recently for Sanner's Autobody and Detailing in New Stanton. He was an avid Pirates, Penguins and Steelers fan. Stan is survived by his sister, Denise (Chris) Giron and their son, Matthew, of Greensburg; his brother, Mark Swencki (Karen) and their daughters, Ann and Amy, of Wonder Lake, Ill.; his lifelong best friend, with whom he built his home, Debbie Crouse; and his canine sidekick, Fancy, of Youngwood. Due to covid-19, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of Stan's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to ASHLEY D. X.
