Shirley Elizabeth (Yusko) Drahusz, 83, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, was led into heaven Saturday August 6, 2022 a day before her 84th birthday. She was vibrant, tender hearted, and was the essence of her family’s lives. Born in Elizabeth Township on August 7, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Yuhas) Yusko. Shirley was artistic and loved to spend time with and care for her family. She was the ultimate cheerleader for her children and grandchildren always being present at all events, activities, outings, and celebrations. Her sharp mind and quick wit could be attributed to the never-ending scrabble games she loved to play on her computer tablet that was affectionately named “Rosie”. She remained social throughout her entire life and was an active member of the Red Hat Society. Shirley was a woman of high moral standards, and held a deep faith. Her daily loving presence and spirited personality will be deeply missed by her children; Deborah (Carl) Overly, Emil Dean Drahusz, Marie (Alvin “Chip”) Hill, Monique (Mike) Driscoll, Sarah Marks (Nate Thompson), and David (Amy) Drahusz; her beloved grand-children, David Hamilton, Nick Drahusz, Noelle (Roderick) Larmar, CJ Hill, Alexis Allen, Summerlee Allen, Loren Allen, Rich Driscoll, Tj (Brittany) Marks, and Zack Drahusz; cherished eleven great-grandchildren, and many special nieces, nephews, siblings, and cousins. Shirley was reunited in Heaven with her late husband Emil Drahusz, as well as her parents John and Elizabeth.
