Sherry Lynne Smith

Sherry Lynne Smith, 79 of Greensburg went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on December 29, 2024.  She was born in Greensburg on October 12, 1945 to the late Harry Gerome and Geraldine Elizabeth (Errett) Smith.  Sherry had a degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from IUP.  Her favorite things in life were her grandchildren, furbabies past and present, gardening, photography, and her weekly talks with her friend Kathy that she met at Virginia Intermont College.  Sherry was preceded in death by her beloved mother Geraldine and father Harry Smith.  She is survived by her daughter Melissa Michelle Temple; & her son William Gerome Temple and his wife Dr. Christen Higgins Clougherty; and grandchildren Jackson Gerome Temple and Claire McCrea Temple of Savannah, GA.  The family would like to thank Bridges Hospice for the excellent care their staff provided, especially Becky and Savannah her regular care providers.  Per Sherry’s wishes no memorial services will be held and all arrangements entrusted to ASHLEY D. X.
