Obituary
Sharon (Burrier) Reese, 68, of Wilkes-Barre, PA passed away on April 17, 2023. She was born October 1, 1954, in Wilkes Barre, the daughter of the late Cora and Bowman Burrier. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Reese, after 37 years of marriage. Sharon graduated from James M Coughlin High School. Sharon started her career at the Social Security Administration in 1970 and much of her career was spent working at the VA Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, PA, where she retired in 2015. Sharon enjoyed attending the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton Penguins Hockey games and hosting parties at the "Man Cave". Sharon also enjoyed vacationing at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Sharon is survived by her cousin Danny Smith his wife Sally Smith, and their children, Daniel and David; niece Danean Boyer, her husband Marshall, and their children, Shane and Katee; nephew Zackary Reese, his wife Corene; niece Gabrielle Reese
