Sharon Harris

Sharon Harris, 54 of Trafford, received her wings on Thursday January 18, 2024. She was born on January 20,1969, and was one of four children to Terrance Kurhansky and the late Mary Jane (King) Kurhansky.

Sharon, also known as Sherry, was a caring charismatic woman who always put other’s first.  She held a strong faith in God and was Catholic. She treasured being a mother to her only son Devin, and embraced holidays especially Christmas time. She enjoyed being social and spending time with her family and friends, riding her bike, gardening, cooking and baking and loved cats. Sharon lived each day in the present and always set a strong foundation of love within her family even when life wasn’t perfect. She also loved the little things this world has to offer such as watching sun the set, spotting rainbows, or gazing at the stars. Her spirited personality and light that she carried with her will always be remembered most by her surviving son Devin Takekawa of Georgia; her father Terrance Kurhansky; sister Tina Kurhansky; nephews Terry and Stevie Kurhansky; and nieces Sarah and Mary Jane Kurhansky.  Sharon was preceded in death and met in heaven by her mother Mary Jane Kurhansky; and brothers Terry and Steve Kurhansky. Immediate services private and a Celebration of Life for Sharon will be announced at a later date.  All arrangements entrusted to ASHLEY D. X.
