Scott Allen Kelly Jr., 31 of Scottdale began his journey to his heavenly life on May 21, 2024. He was born in Greensburg on January 17, 1993 to Scott and Patricia (Silsley) Kelly Sr. Scott was a loving father, devoted husband, and cherished friend. He was the heart and soul of his family, a man whose unwavering kindness and generosity touched everyone he met. He had a unique gift for offering help and comforting words exactly when they were needed the most. To those that knew and loved Scott feel a profound loss but his spirit and the impact of his love will forever remain in our hearts and be our guiding light as we navigate our lives without his earthly presence. Scott is survived by his beloved wife Kristy (Kerber) Kelly and their precious children Patrick, Natalie, and Theodore; his parents Scott Sr. and Patty Kelly (of Smithton); his sisters Samantha Frund and Jessica (Josh) Albright; and his Grandmother Bonnie Kelly (of Smithton). Please join us to celebrate and honor Scott’s life with a Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday May 29, 2024 from 3-7 p.m. at Pavilion 5 Cedar Creek Park, 453 Evergreen Dr. Bell Vernon, PA 15012. All services are entrusted to ASHLEY D.X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. 408 Depot St. Youngwood, PA 15697. In addition to the many roles he played in the lives of his loved ones, Scott faced the challenge of mental illness with courage and resilience. His passing is a poignant reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and the need for open conversation often about this stigmatized issue. We hope that Scott’s story will inspire others who are struggling to seek help and remind everyone it is okay to ask for support.
