Ryan Snyder Obituary

Ryan Paul Snyder, 44, of New Stanton, became whole and transitioned as he embarked on a new journey with his deeply devoted family by his side in his home after a fearless battle with brain cancer Tuesday, April 19, 2022.  Born June 17, 1977, he was the son of Richard and Robin (Kibler) Snyder Sr., beloved husband of Malinda Lee (Newcomer) Snyder, a dedicated father to his five cherished children, and a man of strength, unwavering loyalty and deep devotion to Christ.

Ryan was a graduate of Hempfield Area Highschool class of 1996 and most recently worked as a HVAC Senior Technical Specialist for Trane Technologies, a job he embraced.  He met his wife in 2005, and together they built their family centered on God and fueled with love.  He was always the first person to jump in and help, made sure the people he loved were taken care of, and the ultimate provider.  He had a voracious laugh that was contagious, was creative and a talented guitarist and singer, and never missed a beat with his family creating everlasting memories.

Ryan was an active member of New Stanton Assembly of God, where he professed and shared his fierce faith and trust in the Lord.

He was a pure warrior and truly embodied the essence of a champion. His sprit is imprinted deep within our hearts forever, and he will eternally be remembered for his bravery, leading without fear and teaching us all to be present in each and every precious moment. Ryan is survived by his parents Richard and Robin Snyder, his best friend and wife Malinda, his dear children Janie (Grant Bressler), Kendyl, Trentyn, Dasyn, and Ophelia; grandfather Kenneth Kibler; brother Richard (Hillary) Snyder Jr., and sister Sandra (John) McElfresh; mother-in-law Tacy Newcomer (Bob Murphy); brother-in-law Robbie (Megan) Newcomer; sister–in-law Stephanie Johnston; a niece and six nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins. Ryan joins his brother-in-law Bradley Johnston who passed in 2019, his grandma Patricia Kibler and grandparents Elmer and E. Ruth Snyder in his next phase.  Please join us to honor and celebrate Ryan’s life with a visitation from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022, at ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. 408 DEPOT ST. YOUNGWOOD, PA 15697. White dove release at 3 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held and announced at a later date at New Stanton Assembly of God with Pastor Ron Ingelido presiding. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in care of Ryan’s children and their futures to Malinda Snyder.  “The Lord will fight for you: you need only be still.” Exodus 14:14
