Raymond Earl Myers Jr., “Ray”, died Tuesday June 27, 2023 at Independence Hospital Westmoreland surrounded with deep love from his family. He was born in Greensburg on October 12, 1974 to the late Raymond Myers Sr. and Kimberly (Henry) Burgess Handlan. Ray was true Rock and Roll kind of guy, always, spontaneous, always up for the next adventure and always had a story to tell. He loved live music, attended countless concerts, and often took the bus to downtown Pittsburgh to catch a live band, a Pirates game, or to see just to see what kind of fun he could fall into. He carried a warm heart with him throughout his life and that extended into caring for many animals including reptiles and his most recent puppy Lady. He had a passion for nature and travel and loved spending time outdoors, especially taking Lady to concerts in the park at St. Clair Park in Greensburg. Above all, Ray was the most loyal, devoted, proud father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He cherished every moment he had with his family and took any opportunity he could to visit and spend time with his only daughter and grandchildren at the beach in Bradenton, Florida, which he recently did in May. Ray’s distinct personality, deep dedication to his family, and living each moment to the fullest will always be remembered most by his only daughter Patricia Price; his beloved grandchildren Dominic Wilson, Kolton Price, Weston Price, and Paisley Price all of Bradenton, FL; his two sisters Nicole Florido of Greensburg and Marissa Myers of New Kensington; his brother Wyatt Myers of Irwin; nephews Joshua Nunez of Delmont and Phillip (Dolly) Florido of Forbes Road; nieces Breanna Florido of Morroco who is serving in the Peace Corps., Raylinn Foote, and Elowyn Volk both of New Kensington; great-nephew Valentino Florido of Forbes Road; step-father Steven Handlan of Greensburg, and step-mother Kim Burnworth of Irwin; numerous Aunts, Uncles, special cousins, and countless friends. Ray joins in heaven his parents Ray Sr. and Kimberly; step-father Phillip “Mike” Burgess; paternal grandparents Samuel Myers Sr., and Myrtle (Davis) Myers; and maternal grandparents Harry Henry Sr., and Laura (Christopher) Henry.
