Naomi Jean Fluker

Naomi Jean Fluker, 39, formerly of Ambridge and currently of Youngwood earned her wings on Monday February 27, 2023 in her home.  She was born in Monessen on March 25, 1983 to Howard Q. Fluker and Mary Cindric.  Naomi was an intelligent and tender- hearted soul who had a smile that was contagious and lit up every room she walked in.  She defined what being a “bright-light” meant.  She was feisty and could be outspoken but coupled with her heart of gold and kindness, her aura glowed.  She was stylish and loved her fashion, some may call her a “born diva” and all who knew her well knew her favorite color was gold. A beautiful and proud mother, daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend, Naomi’s eternal spirit will always burn in our hearts and light our way as she will always be remembered for being unapologetically herself and for the unfaltering love she gave so easily.  Naomi is survived by her father Howard Q. Fluker of Youngwood; mother Mary Cindric of Baden; Naomi’s beautiful children Reese Lamont Sharpless, Devon Russell Sharpless, Dahniica Braelyn Quib-Chub, and Roscia Isabella Quib-Chib of Baden; her daughter Samuala who was adopted as a newborn at birth by a loving couple; sisters Geneva Johnson of California and Aleah Cindric of Florida; niece Atrayal Johnson and her children Ferrin and Philo, and niece Nalani Mia Washington along with Nalani’s father Aaron Washington and his mother Novella Washington.  Naomi was met in heaven by her grandparents Lilly Mae Fluker and Claude Fluker Sr. & Martha and Mike Cindric; her Aunt Barbara Jean Cindric and her cousins Rosalind Marie Ross & cousin Brandy Fluker.  Please join us to celebrate and honor Naomi’s life with a viewing on Friday March 10, 2023 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. followed by a white dove release at ASHLEY D.
