Nancy L. (Hershberger) Eck

Nancy L. (Hershberger ) Eck, 78, loving sister, mother, and devoted grandmother died peacefully on Valentine’s Day warmly surrounded by her family.  Nancy will be deeply missed for her kindness and tender heart.  She was born in Mt. Pleasant to the late Charles P. and Irene V. (Petrosky) Hershberger and was a resident of Youngwood. Nancy was a member of Armbrust Wesleyan Church. When she wasn’t helping her son with his janitorial business you could find her shooting pool, gardening at her home, and her favorite thing; spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who she adored.  Nancy was an active member of the A & B Club of Youngwood, The Hunt Club, Women of the Moose, and Midway Firehall. 

She will be forever loved, and deeply missed by her children Rachel Hoza (Jeff Sarver) of Mt. Pleasant, Jon Hoza (Guadelupe Zuniga) of Raleigh, N.C., Debbie Hoza (Sam Al-Droubi) of Nashville, TN, Steve Hoza (Judy) of Greensburg, Mike Hoza (Karen Firestone) of Youngwood; four grandchildren, Alex Sarver, Adam and Emma Al-Droubi, and Emily Hoza; a brother Thomas (Cheryl) Hershberger of Mt. Pleasant; and significant other Reynold Ruffo of Youngwood.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers Charles J. and David Hershberger.  Nancy will be eternally remembered for her kindness and warm spirit.  As per her request, all services are private and arrangements entrusted to ASHLEY D.
