Michele Renee Higgins, 60, of Greensburg, gained her angel wings in heaven Wednesday June 24, 2026 at Westmoreland Manor. She was born in Jeannette, August 19, 1965 to the late Donald D. and Sylvia (Guiddy) Higgins Sr. Michele carried a light with her since the day she born. She attended St. Joseph’s School her entire life, a school tailored for Michele where she developed her strengths and skills, was a happy singing member of the choir, always social and laughing, and adored by her teachers and classmates. She was a Pittsburgh Penguin fan and knew everyone on her floor at The Manor where she resided for the last 12 years. Affectionately called the “Queen B”, Michele was always ready for the next activity, didn’t miss a bingo game, and sang in their choir. She left an imprint on everyone she met,and will be deeply missed, reminding us to be present and to never quit when life isn’t perfect. Her gentle, kind, and tender heart will be forever be cherished by all lives she touched, especially her mother Sylvia Higgins; sister Kim Higgins, brother Donald D. Higgins Jr. (Patricia); nieces Caitlin Higgins, Erin Stambaugh (Jake), and nephew Donald P. Higgins (Alex); great- nephews Benjamin and Henry. Michele was reunited in heaven with her father Donald D. Higgins Sr. who preceded her in death in 2018. All services are private and entrusted to ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. 408 Depot St. Youngwood, PA 15697.
