Michael G. Smith

It is with great sadness the family of Michael G. Smith announces his passing on March 4, 2026 at the age of 44.  He was a lifelong resident of Greensburg and he attended Greensburg Salem high School.  He was born March 30, 1981, the son of Vickie and the late William (Bill) Smith.  Michael was preceded in death by both his father William Smith and grandparents.  Surviving are his daughter Malarie Smith whom he loved more than life itself; mother Vickie Smith; sister Joyce Malis and her husband Mark; brother Joseph Smith and fiancé Amanda Yusko; several nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.  Michael loved sports and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He was such a kind person always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.  Please join us Wednesday March 11, 2026 from 5 pm until time of service at 7 pm at ASHLEY D X.
