Mary A. Coleman, 55, of Greensburg, died on Christmas Eve at Excela Health Westmoreland after complications of heart surgery. She was born Feb. 18, 1966, to the late Martin and Laura (Oglesby) Umak. Mary was artistic and creative. She loved coloring, and growing beautiful houseplants. She spent many days assisting her sister baking, for which she had a special love of sweet cream-filled ladylocks. Mary continued to persevere against all obstacles life threw at her. She lived a life of strength and her spirit will live on deep in the hearts of all who knew her, especially her surviving family; her children; son, Steven (Jennifer) Coleman, of Greensburg; daughters, Christine (Tom McCarthy) Coleman, of New Stanton, and Amanda (Jordan) Cataldo, of St. Petersburg Fla.; beloved grandchildren, Ryne and Samantha Coleman, and Shannon McCarthy; sisters, Jackie (George) Vrbanic, Deborah (Fred) DeFlorio, and Michelle (Scott) Snowden; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
