Mark Lawrence Heverley

Mark L. Heverley died peacefully at home on April 23, 2024.  He was born in Westmoreland Hospital on May 23, 1958, and graduated from Greensburg Central High School in 1976. After high school, he graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor's of Science in Music Education in 1980.  Mark was a well known classical guitarist that performed for concerts, weddings, church services, and friends and family. He taught private guitar lessons and was a teaching instructor part time at Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA, Mercyherst College in Erie, PA, Allgheny College in Meadville, PA, and Thiel College in Greenville, PA. Mark loved golfing and walking and found inspiration from the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. He is proceeded in death by his parents "Vern" Bob and Margaret, and brothers Jack, Bill, and Bob Jr. Heverley. He is survived by his brother Joe and daughter Megan.  Family and Friends are invited to join us on May 2, 2024 at 11 am for committal service at Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, 179  Greensburg-Donohoe Station Road Greensburg, PA 15601.  Please visit our tribute wall to leave a condolence or share a memory of Mark.  All arrangements entrusted to ASHLEY D.
