Lewis Edward Baker Jr., 80, of Greensburg died peacefully Monday July 29, 2024 at Westmoreland Manor. He was born in Foxtown on July 16, 1944 to the late Lewis Edward Baker Sr. and the late Betty (Riggle) Jordan. Lewis was a graduate of Youngwood high School and was a proud Army Veteran. A steadfast hard worker throughout his entire life, he was a cross -country tractor -trailer truck driver. He married Irene (Campbell), and together they raised their three sons in the Foxtown Hecla area. An excellent father, he was a homebody and loved to teach his boys everything he knew- from auto body mechanics to riding motorcycles, to shooting pool. Many years spent at camp in Somerset County deer hunting will forever bring fond memories. Lewis leaves a legacy of unwavering loyalty to his family and he will be so deeply missed most by his surviving sons and their families; Thomas (Kammi), Lance (Carolyn), and Richard (Darla) Baker; his beloved grandchildren Tommy, Bryan, Michelle, Becky, Kyle, Lindsey, and Jenna; his cherished great-grandchildren Kayden, Tyson, Roselyn, and Laylin who he just met last week; and sisters Renee King and Sandy Poerio. Lewis was met in heaven by his wife Irene who passed in 2019; infant son Lewis Edward Baker III, as well as his parents Lewis and Betty; and brother Keith Baker. Lewis wished for all services to be private and entrusted to ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. 408 DEPOT ST. YOUNGWOOD 15697.
