Laurel Angelina Carey

Laurel Angelina Carey, 22, of Gloucester, MA, passed away on May 18, 2022, surrounded by her family and close friends at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA.
Born in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of Kevin Carey of Florida, and Lisa Rae Nativio.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Jordan Alexandra Carey of Gloucester, MA, grandmother Donna Nativio and many other family members and loved ones.  She was preceded in death by her grandfather William Nativio.

Laurel was passionate about astorology, and her she loved animals along with her friends.  She never met a stranger because she easily touched the hearts and connected with every person she met.  Laurels's early career led her into a position as Dunkin Donuts Store Manager in Essex, Massachusetts, where she won store manager of the year her very first year of service.  She had aspirations of becoming an ultrasound technologist, and theres no doubt she would have succeeded.  Laurel will be remembered for her gentle and soft heart, bright light that shown brightly through her spirit filled eyes of compassion, and grace for all humanity.  She was a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, friend, and co-worker.  She will forever live on and in through those that loved her and were fortunate enough to know our darling. Lastly, Laurel was an organ donor and gifted 4 individuals with life.

 Please join us to celebrate Laurel's life on Sunday, June 19, 2022 from noon until time of service at 1 p.m., followed by white dove release at 2 p.m. at ASHLEY D.
