Joshua Donald Bauer

On Friday, September 18, 2020 Joshua Donald Bauer, loving son, father, brother and uncle was led by angels into heaven at the age of 43.  Josh could make a friend in an empty room, and was an absolutely tender hearted human.  He taught all who knew him what a real friend was with his compassion, honesty and loyalty. He was born May 13, 1977 in St. Mary’s, PA to the late John Bauer and Karen Loveridge.  His passion for the outdoors led him to play softball, fish, ride motorcycles, golf and spend countless hours with all of his beloved dogs. Josh will always be remembered for his headstrong determination, enthusiasm and truly magnetic personality.  He took time to be present and live in the moment each and every day. You never forgot the way he made you feel, even if you spoke to him only once, as he commanded a presence in any room.  He will be deeply missed and forever loved and most remembered for his great sense of humor and giving heart by all who knew him.  In addition to his father, Josh was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Don and Helen Bauer; maternal grandparents Harold and Marie (Betty) Earney, his wife Inger Holt Bauer, his nephew Dakota Bejster, his dogs Angie and Bodie, and cat Sporty. He is survived by his son Gavin Bauer ; mother Karen (Joseph) Loveridge of Greensburg; grandmother Janice Earney; siblings Marie (Bill) Gallagher, Brooke (Shaun) Hodierne, Billy Loveridge, Kimberly Lampe, niece Josie Anne; nephews, Jakob, Griffin, Oliver, Reid and Conor; beloved pittbull Primo; and a large extended family of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.   Please join us to celebrate Josh’s life on Tuesday September 22, 2020 from 2-6 p.m. with Memorial Service at 5 p.m. at The ASHLEY D.
