Jorge Enrique Diaz-Montero

Jorge Enrique Diaz- Montero, 71 of North Huntingdon formerly of Puerto Rico and Queens, NY went to sleep in the arms of the Lord on Friday September 13, 2024 at Transitions Nursing Facility with his devoted son Jose at his side.  He was born April 9, 1953 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico to the late Enrique Diaz and Josephina Montero. Jorge was an incredible father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He was hard working who always brought his family together and was dedicated to providing and nurturing.  He served in the Army National Guard as a police officer, and trained with 5th and 7th Special Forces Groups Airborne in Fort Bragg, NC. After he was discharged, he settled into Queens where he owned a car dealership and was a sales associate.  Jorge will always be remembered and cherished for being an exemplary family man with fond memories of loyalty and tender care to everyone.  He survived by his son Jose Enrique Diaz-Montero of McKeesport; daughter in law Eliana Mandez; granddaughter Julissa Diaz-Gonzalez & grandson Jonathan Diaz of Queens, NY; and nine beautiful great grandchildren.
