Jeannine (Irvin) Ferrante, age 69, of Apollo passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025. Born January 11, 1956 in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Monroe Irvin Sr. and Jeannine (Smith) Irvin Earley, and the wife of 50 wonderful years to Michael Joseph Ferrante. Jeannine worked as an Executive Assistant with the Gift of Life Donor Program in Philadelphia, a role she took great pride in. She had a lifelong love for her Shih Tzus, having owned and cared for them since the early 1980s. Her beloved Snickers passed away recently, and she now leaves behind Romeo and Juliet, whose companionship brought her tremendous joy. The loyalty and unconditional love her dogs gave her filled her heart with happiness. In addition to her beloved husband Michael and Shih Tzus, Romeo and Juliet, Jeannine is survived by her brother, Arthur Monroe (Jeanne) Irvin Jr. of Missouri; nieces, Yvonne Sweirkosz (Joseph), Cynthia Irvin, and Alicia (Jason) Holtzer Roberts; sister-in-law, Ellen (Michael Wood) Austin of Queen City, TX; brother-in-law, Robert Holtzer; and several additional nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marybeth Irvin Holtzer; and niece, Lauren Nicole Sweirkosz. In accordance with Jeannine’s wishes, all services are private and entrusted to ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME, INC. To leave a condolence or memory, please visit our tribute wall.
