James Anthony Panebianco Sr.

James Anthony Panebianco Sr, 67, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at his residence. Born June 8, 1956, in Greensburg, PA, son of the late Joseph and Florence (Lukas) Panebianco, he is preceded in death by his brothers Frank, Samuel, and Joseph. A 1974 graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School, James worked for over 40 years in various trades, including sheet metal, electricity, and HVAC repair. Looked up to for his intelligence, diligence, and tireless and perfectionist work ethic, he was the "go-to" person for HVAC, often working overtime in the worst weather conditions to keep Pittsburgh both warm and cool. Jim also shared his expertise as an HVAC instructor at Triangle Tech. When not working, his passions were spending time with his sons and grandchildren, to whom he was a pillar of strength, reliability, and unconditional love. He also enjoyed classic cars, grilling out, going dancing, seeing live bands, and having conversations about topics ranging from movies to physics and science. He had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He will be deeply missed by his sons, James Jr. of Wheatland, Justin of Jeannette, Jesse and wife Leah Panebianco of Greensburg, and John of Greensburg, numerous grandchildren, whom he adored with all his heart, his beloved sister Nita Olech of Painesville, Ohio, and a brother, Nicholas Panebianco of Florida.
