Helen Diane Kuszaj

Our beloved sister Helen D. Kuszaj, 65, of West Newton, PA passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, after a brief illness.  She was born June 3, 1958 the daughter of the late Julian and Helen Kalna Kuszaj George.  Helen was a graduate of Yough Senior High School class of 1977 and went on to work at a daycare, caring for children which she loved, and eventually worked in the Environmental Services department of Westinghouse.  She loved to go to the beach in the summer as well as camping and canoeing. Helen is survived by her siblings; Bernice Atcheson of Fredericktown, PA, Geraldine (Darrell) Hill of Hunker, PA, Eileen Sears of Lynchburg, VA, and her twin brother Julian Kuszaj of Greensburg, PA.  In addition to her siblings, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews; Liberty (Kathy) Hill, Candise (Brian) Miller, Deborah Atcheson, Dianna (Mat) Blanish, Robert (Erin) Sears; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.  She is proceded in death by her parents; her stepfather Louis George; sister Angela George Penney; nephew Justin Kuszaj; niece Ashley Kuszaj; brother in laws Bill Atcheson and Robert Sears; and sister in law Denise Kuszaj.  A private service will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made in Helen’s name to the West Newton Fire Company 100 Riverside Road West Newton, PA 15089, or a charity of your choice.  Arrangements entrusted to Ashley D.
