Harry Thomas (Tom) Yothers, 84, of Greensburg (Youngwood), passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, in Greensburg. Tom was born February 23, 1941, in Greensburg, to Glenn (Dode) and Eva (Suska) Yothers. He went to Hurst high school and later Carnegie Institute for technical training. He married Barbara Lou (Barb Weightman) Yothers on June 3, 1961, in Youngwood. He worked as a communication technician for AT&T for 39years. He was a longtime member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Youngwood and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Emporium PA. Tom was a very competitive amateur motocross racer in the late 60s and early 70s. After retirement in 1999 he and Barb moved to Sterling Run in Cameron County PA. He was an avid golfer, cross-country skier and outdoorsman. He is fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was known as Harry to co-workers and Tom to family. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Dode and Eva; and brother, John (Jake). He is survived by his wife Barb; children, Gregory A. (Greg) (wife Robbin), Glenn E. (former wife Lisa), and Aaron P. (wife Jennifer) Yothers; and grandchildren, Mitchell P., Emily J., Elizabeth R., Matthew N., Hannah G. and Samantha (Sam) R. Yothers.
Please join us to celebrate and honor Tom with a visitation Friday December 26, 2025 from 9 to 11 a.m. at ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. 408 Depot St. Youngwood . Funeral Liturgy will be held directly after at Noon at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 126 N. Fourth St., Youngwood, with the Rev. Peter E. Nordby officiating. Please go directly to church for service.
