Gregory George Besterci

Gregory George Besterci, 70, lifelong resident of Simpson Road Hempfield Township passed peacefully in the comfort of his home the early morning of December 6, 2025.  He was born in Greensburg on August 2, 1955 to the late Paul E. and Julien (Adamerovich) Besterci.  Greg was a graduate of Hempfield High School and retired from Supervalu. He truly enjoyed hunting and trap shooting .  He was a dedicated family man and always a provider and protector.  He adored his family and treasured every moment he spent with his grandchildren.  Greg will always be remembered for his perseverance and strength that he carried throughout his entire life.  He will be missed deeply by his beloved wife of 47 years Cathy A. (Moran) Besterci; children Jason Besterci (Alyssa) and Nicole Noel; cherished grandchildren Austin, Addisyn, Krista, Levi, Mason, Maya, and Alyson; twin sister Cathy Wolfe of Florida; sister Lilian Bartok of Ohio; and sister-in-law Doris Besterci of Latrobe. In addition to his parents , Greg was proceeded in death by his brother Paul “Dan” Besterci. Per Greg’s wishes all services will be private and entrusted to ASHLEY D. X.
