Frank Lawrence “Larry” Howard III

Frank Lawrence "Larry" Howard III, 69, of Greensburg, passed peacefully  at his home Sunday, April 11, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 11, 1951, in Greensburg, a son of Caroline Burnsworth Howard of Greensburg, and the late Frank Lawrence Howard II.

Larry was a retired Registered Nurse from Excela Westmoreland Hospital, a career he greatly enjoyed. As a self-taught musician, Larry loved singing and playing numerous instruments like the guitar and keyboard. Riding his motorcycle and long car rides with his beloved German Shephard, Dax, were two of his favorite past times. But he loved his family most of all.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shelly Rowand Howard; three children, Rachel Ann Howard, of Greensburg, Timothy Mark Howard and his wife, Annie Catalona, of Greensburg, and David Aaron Howard and wife, Allison, of Jeannette; two grandsons, Dominic Vincent Howard and Angelo Scott Howard; a brother Ronald L. Howard and wife, Robin, of Greensburg; a sister, Lisa A. Lilley and husband, Richard, of Mount Pleasant; three nephews, Ronald Jr., Bryon and Eric; two nieces, Katie Rose and Elena Marie Corsaro; and his black German Shephard, Dax.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
