Frances Ann (Norman) Macaulay Wilson, 79 of Youngwood, went home to be with the Lord on Friday October 13, 2023 in her home after a short and fierce battle with brain cancer. She was born February 7, 1944 in Charleston, WV to the late James and Etta (Broyles) Norman. Frances had a vibrant personality, was an incredible mother and grandmother, and walked daily with Christ. She was a parish member of First Trinity United Church of Christ in Youngwood. She loved flowers and gardening, and playing cards and animals, but her greatest role was being a mother and grandmother and great-grandmother to her 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 8 special great-grandchildren. Fond memories of her nurturing her family will be everlasting. Frances’s presence will be missed daily and her tender heart and sweet spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her surviving family; her son Ed Macaulay (Missy), daughters Laura Scanio (Greg), Christine Mclemore (Josh), and Rebecca Washburn and son- in-law Shane Washburn; her beloved grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly, Matthew, and Joseph Scanio, Stephanie, Justin, and Nicholas Macaulay, Dustin Kunkle, Daniel Ness, and Michael Ness; her eight great-grandchildren; her brother Robert Norman and sister-in-law Patsy Norman; and her special kitty Ruby who she adored. Frances was met in heaven by her parents James and Etta, as well as her husband Glenn Wilson. Please join us to celebrate her life with a Dinner on Saturday October 21, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Youngwood VFW Post 211 108 S. 4th St. Youngwood, PA 15697. All arrangements entrusted to ASHLEY D. X.
