Edward Lee Risher

Edward Lee Risher, 69 of Saltsburg died Wednesday July 5, 2023 comfortably in his home. He was born November 30, 1953 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Charlie and Dorothy (Sible) Risher. Edward grew up in Saltsburg and was a graduate of Saltsburg Junior Senior High School and went on to mechanic school.  He had a keen mechanical mind and talented hands, and loved to build and restore anything he could especially taking junk cars and bringing them back to their original beauty. He owned his own auto body shop in Saltsburg for many years called F & L Automotive Service and would help anyone in need. Edward believed in hard work and will always be remembered for his kind heart and his dedication to his community and family.  He will be missed deeply by his surviving sons; Luke Ruckel and his wife Desiree , and adopted son Frank Ruckel; grandchildren; Luke Jr., Evan, Jarrell, Gerald, Geraldine, German, Germana, Gemma, and Genesis; brothers Bill and John; and sisters Mary, Lois, and Dottie.
