Donald Ellis Redman Sr., 72, of Greensburg, PA was called to his Heavenly home on November 2, 2021. Born in Jeannette, PA on January 27, 1949, he was the beloved son of the late Curtis Redman Sr. and Mary (Gantt) Redman.
The essence of Mr. Redman was his family and friends. Donald shared a deep love with predeceased Barbara “Ms. Barb” Houser for many years. He is survived by three children and two stepchildren: Donald “Dee” Redman, Jr., Danielle Redman-Miller, Brian Redman, Janelle (Houser) Gilliam and Janine Houser. Also surviving is his brother Mike Davis, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members and numerous friends. Preceding him in death is his bother Curtis “Danny” Redman Jr. and sister Cindy Redman.
He was a stylish gentleman with captivating eyes, charming smile, and an equally matched personality. Listening to music, fishing, and cooking were just some of his favorite activities. An avid pool player, he was a member of the American Pool Players Association. Most of all though, he loved spending time with family and friends.
Donald touched so many lives and will be immensely missed, but his beautiful soul will forever live on.
A celebration of Donald’s life will be held on Tuesday November 9, 2021, Noon-5 p.m., at THE ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. 408 Depot St. Youngwood, PA 15697.
