Deborah Isler Obituary

Deborah Jean Isler, 71 of Greensburg went to sleep in the arms of The Lord on August 9, 2025 with her devoted family lovingly at her side.  She was born October 19, 1953 in Jeannette, one of seven children to the late Chester Emanuel and Betty Mae (Horning) Bush. Deborah grew up in Arona, was a graduate of Yough High School, and soon after moved to Greensburg.  She was a child of God and walked daily with Christ, wearing her heart on her sleeve, always gracious, always kind, and always willing to help. She was the family gatherer, and although she never had any of her own children, her nieces and nephews were treated as if they were hers, showering them always with love and endless support.  Deborah believed in the power of prayer and her spirit and light shown through her daily as she touched many lives with her warmth.  She was gifted with her hands, a master seamstress, her talent graced many brides throughout western Pa. working as a seamstress for M’Kaysha Bridal, she connected not only with brides but was known to fix the grooms pants the day of the wedding.  Deborah knew tons of people, was very social and bowled in leagues at Main Bowl and Hillview Lanes, and loved to attend Thursday night trivia at Pizza Sienna. She will be remembered for her heart of gold and thoughtful spirit and unwavering faith that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.  She will be deeply missed most by her fiance of 35 years Frank Lanza; siblings Dena Dillender, Darlene Edwards, Darla Piper, Robin Bush-Byers, and Robert Bush; and many nieces, nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews; and countless friends.  In addition to her parents, Deborah was met in heaven by her sister Donna Johnson; niece Nicole Marie Bush; and nephew Jason Johnson who predeceased her.  There will be a Celebration of Life for Deborah on her birthday, October 19, 2025.  All arrangements entrusted to ASHLEY D.
