David Michael Genard, 68 of Ruffs Dale, died September 20th, 2021. He was born February 25th, 1953, and was the son of the late Daniel and Virginia (Wojkiewicz) Genard. David grew up in Youngwood and was a graduate of Hempfield High School. He worked as a machine operator for Penn State Tool and Die Corporation. An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved to spend time at his camp in Elk County. David will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his surviving family; his beloved wife of 18 years Joyce (Kopacka) Genard of Ruffs Dale; his son David Genard; grandson Chase Genard; siblings Louise Perruquet of Greensburg, Daniel (Stephanie) Genard of Youngwood, and Bonnie (Raymond) Omlor of New Stanton. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister; Patricia Genard. A service to celebrate David’s life will be announced at a later date. All arrangements entrusted to ASHLEY D.
