David Glenn Bender, 60, of New Stanton, PA began his journey to be united with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 10, 2025, as a result of an aortic aneurysm at Westmoreland Hospital with his family at his side. Born October 7, 1964, in Jeannette, PA, he was one of three sons to C. Glenn Bender, Jr. and the late Eleanor Jean Hartman, who passed away May 8, 2008. David graduated from Hempfield High School in 1983 and later from Logos Bible School, devoting his life to ministry as a faithful servant of God. His love for Christ and his family was the heart of all he did. A gifted musician, David played guitar, composed, and recorded his own music, always for the glory of God, for his online ministry, and for his own joy. He had a passion for cooking and treasured sharing meals with loved ones. Thoughtful and kind, with an intelligent mind and a warm sense of humor, David touched the lives of all who knew him with his faith, generosity, and genuine spirit. In addition to his father, David is survived by his sister, Beth (Bender) Briggs; brothers, Tim (Mary Ellen) Bender and Joe (Karen) Bender; nine nieces and nephews; one great niece and one great nephew; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Jean. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Drive, Delmont, PA 15626 in David's name. In accordance with David’s wishes, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held on October 3, 2025 from 1-4 pm at the American Legion Post # 344 Jeannette, 109 S. 5th St. Jeannette, PA 15644. ASHLEY D. X.
