Craig Spencer Stairs Sr.

Craig Spencer Stairs Sr. passed away Saturday August 20, 2022 at home. He was born on February 8, 1957 in Malvern, PA, a son of the late Harry Bert and Violet Mae (Moffat) Stairs.
Before retiring early due to health problems, he worked as a laborer for Aeolian Enterprises in Derry Township. He loved watching baseball, a lifelong fan of his hometown team, the Philadelphia Phillies, and always enjoyed air drumming along with his favorite classic rock bands. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Becky Audress (Piper) Stairs, brothers Thomas Brandick, Ronald and Larry Stairs, and a sister, Linda Stairs. He is survived by his children, daughters Christine and husband Robert Bucher of Greensburg, Amanda Nicely of Brennizer, and son Craig Jr. of Ligonier, grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jonas, Harliegh and Rylend Stairs, Ayden Pape,Kylee Elder, and Dacey and Reagan Nicely. Please join us to celebrate and honor Craig's life with a visitation on Tuesday August 30, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. 408 Depot St. Youngwood, PA 15697. 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Ashley D. X.  Nye Funeral Home to help off set the costs of the final expenses.
