Constance Sestak Obituary

Constance Lynn "Connie" Sestak, Age 72 of North Braddock passed peacefully into the loving arms of Our Lord on February 24, 2026 with her devoted family by her side. Connie was born to the late Thomas G. and Elizabeth A. (Ily) Sestak on May 31, 1953 in Braddock Hospital.  Constance will be remembered by many for her beautiful smile, her immense love for all of God’s creatures and nature. You could find Connie showing care and appreciation for animals daily, feeding and watering her “furry friends”. Her generosity and kindness also spread to her family and all those that were kind to her.  She showed this with all her heart and created artwork, cards and cherished gifts.  She loved coffee with friends and browsing antique shops that took her back to her childhood.  Connie was the first one to brighten your day with a cute joke or quote and she will always be remembered as a 1971 graduate of Scott High School in North Braddock where she was voted “ Most Beautiful Smile.” A very self -sufficient lady, she maintained a beautiful home and dedicated herself to any job she ever had, including WABCO of Wilmerding and most recently Phillips Respironics in Murrysville.  Connie was preceded in death by both parents Thomas G. and Elizabeth A. (Ily) Sestak; her brother Thomas D. Sestak; and niece Becca Golden of East McKeesport.  Connie is survived and sadly missed by her sisters; Lisa Stecz (John) of Greensburg, Donna R. Sestak of Irwin; niece Amanda Hendrick (Kevin) of Acme; additional nieces and nephews Adalyn, Abrielle, Logan, and Blake Armbrust, Chloe and Olivia Meyers, and Thomas D. Sestak Jr. of Florida; countless friends including Ronald Trayor of Greensburg and Garry Stark of Irwin who were devoted to Connie’s well being.  Friends will be received Saturday March 7, 2026 from 3 pm until time of Funeral Service at 4 pm at ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. with Rev. David Greer presiding.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The family request in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation on Connie’s behalf to White Oak Animal Safe Haven 2295 Lincoln Way White Oak, PA  15131, Human Animal Rescue 6000 Verona Rd.
