Chester Lynn Price

Chester Lynn Price 84, of Greensburg passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 11, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 23, 1940 to Thomas Price & Leona Seehoffer. He was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School Class of 1959. He served in the Pennsylvania Army & Air National Guard from 1962-1969. He was a skilled machinist by trade and worked for the former ITE-Brown Boveri Plant in South Greensburg. After time spent in Texas & Florida he returned to his hometown of Greensburg and retired from the Greensburg YMCA. After retirement he joined his son David working for the former W. G. Balph Company making many friends and acquaintances.  He will be remembered as a quiet and gentle man. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Chase Dennis Price. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Patricia (Long) Price; his sons Thomas Price & wife Doreen of Lompoc California, and David Price & wife Kristy along with their sons Tanner & Greyson Price of Greensburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Thomas Tomci & staff for their compassionate care of Chester.
