Cheryl Anne (Keenan) Oliver, 65, was led home to heaven by a choir of angels in the early morning of March 27, 2025. She was born in McKeesport on February 25, 1960 to the late Reid J. and Joanne (Giles) Keenan, and was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School class of 1979. Cheryl was a long time resident of Florida for over 30 years, and traveled back and forth to western PA often to visit her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother; and aunt and sister, who cherished every moment she spent with her family. Her kindness and generosity showed through the time she spent volunteering and helping care for others, and she will forever be remembered for baking beautiful birthday cakes and celebrating everyone’s birthday. Cheryl was a fashionista and a Pittsburgh girl at heart, she loved the Steelers, and requested Snyder’s Chips, Fago red pop, and her beloved Sarris chocolate to anyone making the trip to visit her in Florida. She enjoyed traveling and collected a magnet from all her destinations; many fond memories of trips to Pigeon Forge with her family will always be treasured. Cheryl walked daily with Christ and was a member of Lighthouse Church in Panama City, where she was an active church member. She leaves behind a wide circle of loved ones whose lives she touched with her tender heart. Cheryl’s spirited personality and unwavering love and support she gave to her family and friends will always be a remaining source of strength, as she will be so deeply missed. Cheryl is survived by her daughter Britney Norton (Anne Cline), and grandchildren Alaina and Andrew Norton of Panama City, FL; sister Kim Rosensteel (Kenneth Sr.) of Youngwood; nieces and nephews Jessica (Dan Smith), Jen, Mike, James “Beaver”, and Brandon Keenan, Michelle Kibel (Dan), Misty Rosensteel, Kenny Rosensteel Jr., Michael Hice, Logan Pennington, Ethan Rosensteel, Kensey, Carter, and Conner Nestler, and Dominic Bellin; many great- nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and countless friends. In addition to her parents, Cheryl was reunited with her baby girl Whitney Oliver who passed at 3 months of age, her niece Marissa Shipley; and her siblings Kevin and Linda Keenan. Please join us to celebrate and honor Cheryl’s life with a Memorial Service on Sunday April 6, 2025 from 2-5 p.m. at Word of Life Church 4497 PA-136 Greensburg, PA 15601, and also a Celebration of Life Service Sunday April 13, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Nilly’s Wine Bar owned and operated by Cheryl’s daughter Britney, an endeavor Cheryl was so proud of, located at 7119 US-98 Panama City, FL 32407.
