On Wednesday December 9, 2020 Betty Houser formerly of Mt. Pleasant, currently of Greensburg died peacefully. Her stalwart spirit will forever be cherished, and she will forever be loved for her deep devotion to her family being a fiercely dedicated mother and grandmother, fun loving aunt, and loyal sister. Betty was born August 14, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Martin and Margaret Weimer Testa. She was a graduate of Ramsey High School and worked various jobs throughout the years, but whole-heartedly embraced her most important role of being a homemaker. She loved to bake and cook always sharing her homemade treats with her friends and family, while wearing her signature and favorite color pink. Whether you were stopping over to shoot the breeze, heading to the casino to gamble with her, or making a beach trip, one knew if they were going to be with Betty a grand time was to be had. She was sunshine always full of vigor, sass, and most importantly pure love. She will be missed everyday. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her brother William Houser, sister-in-law Jacqueline Houser, and a nephew Jonathan Daniel Morelli. She is survived by her son Shawn Houser; two grandchildren Cole and Dillon Houser; niece Rachele Amodeo; nephew Michael William Morelli; and very special friends Misty Beaufort and Mary Malago. A graveside service to celebrate Betty’s life will be announced at a later date at St. Clair Cemetery Greensburg, PA. All arrangements entrusted to ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC.
