Bert Raymond Ressler III, 45, of Jeannette was called home on January 12, 2025, where he passed peacefully at his home. He was born August 29, 1979 in Jeannette to the late Bert R. and Elsie Babe (Silvis) Ressler Jr. Ray was a lifelong resident of Jeannette and attended Jeannette High School. He wore his heart on his sleeve and loved spending time with his children and grandson who brought him the most happiness and gave him the greatest role of his life. He was a hometown guy and a die- hard Steeler fan, if there was a game to watch you could find Ray catching every play glued to the game. He was an avid collector of Steeler gear and shoes. Ray loved to be outdoors and spent many summers fishing and riding quads. He will be forever remembered for his spirited personality and deeply missed most by his daughters Somer Guy (Lloyd Jr.), Skyler and Shylee Ressler; beloved grandson Mason; siblings Joy Jones, Paul Ressler, Sherry Duncan, and Mark Ressler; as well as his ex-wife and friend Tobi; and many nieces and nephews; cousins; and countless friends. In addition to his parents, Ray was met in heaven by his siblings Robert, John, Gary, Bert Richard Ressler, and Debbie Pedder. All services are private and entrusted to ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. 408 Depot St. Youngwood. Please visit our tribute wall to leave a condolence or share a memory of Ray.
When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not here to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes, filled with tears for me. I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today, While thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, And each time you think of me, I'll know you miss me too. When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart.
