Amy Sue Edwards, age 60, of Lower Burrell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born February 2, 1964, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Robert Waterloo and Lucille (Plows) Bash, and wife of 34 wonderful years to Douglas Edwards.
Amy Sue was a Graduate of Burrell High School, Class of 1982, where she met and fell in love with her sweetheart, Doug. Together they built and raised a family on a strong foundation of deep love and loyalty. Amy Sue will forever be loved and remembered with every cup of tea, game of Yahtzee, craft show, and neighborhood walk with friends.
She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her, including, her beloved husband, Douglas Edwards; five loving children, Derek (Chelsey) Edwards, Devan (Brian) Haley, Amanda (Jake) Miller, Dean Edwards, and Aaron Edwards; four cherished grandchildren, Brilee, Bud, Wallace, and Vivienne; siblings, Robert Waterloo, Betty Lou Shanko, and Patrick (Amy) Waterloo; in-laws, Denise Waterloo, Cris (David) Roth, Charles (Marci) Edwards III, and Andrew (Lisa) Edwards; father-in-law, Charles Edwards II; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Paul Bash; brother, Joseph Waterloo; and mother-in-law, Marlene (Mertens) Edwards.
