With open arms, Jesus welcomed Amy Jo Colbert, 56 of North Huntingdon, PA into the gates of heaven as she was peacefully called home on October 22, 2024. Our extra special daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend attended Clelian Heights School for exceptional children. She entered school at age 5 until she graduated from there at age 22. During that time Amy was involved in Special Olympics, placed high ranks in races, was an excellent swimmer, gifted card player who could shuffle the deck like no other, hand held poker machine player, an avid fan of wrestling WWF, and the Pittsburgh Pirates biggest baseball fan, attending many wrestling matches and games throughout the years. Amy loved doggies often walking her family pups Sydney & Jack, and watching old sitcoms reruns of All in The Family, The Jeffersons, and Good Times, as well as scary movies, always saying I’m not scared. She had an ear for music and danced to various songs loving every minute of it. Amy’s contagious laughter and smile touched our hearts and will always bring comfort and peace as we will always smile thinking of her. She will be so deeply missed by many. Amy was predeceased by her father Nicholas Colbert, and survived by her mother Rebecca Colbert of North Huntingdon; brother Christopher of Duquesne; sister Jennifer of Trafford; and many aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, and friends. Please join us to celebrate and honor Amy’s life with a blessing mass at St. Agnes Church in Irwin, PA on Saturday November 16, 2024 at Noon, followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon at Greenhouse Winery Event Center at 2 p.m., 2155 Gracin Lane Irwin, PA 15642. GPD Address : 1048 Pinewood Rd. All are welcome to pay tribute to our Angel. All services entrusted to ASHLEY D. X. NYE CREMATION CARE & FUNERAL HOME INC. 408 Depot St. Youngwood, PA 15697.
